Field Hall’s mission is to be a home for arts and events that bring people together and strengthens our community.

Field Hall stands as a beacon on the Port Angeles Waterfront: the most ambitious community funded project to be completed on the North Olympic Peninsula this century. Hundreds of individual arts patrons and donors came together to form our Founding Circle and transform Field Hall from a vacant lot to a state-of-the-art events venue and world-class theater.

Now the community is stepping up to ensure that Field Hall is a home for arts and events for generations to come. Funds raised through the ALL IN Campaign will establish artistic development, education, and community engagement endowments and cover the additional construction costs caused by the COVID-19 pandemic shutdown.

LOCAL STUDENTS SERVED BY PENINSULA PERFORMS! ARTS INTEGRATED EDUCATION PROGRAMS

Field Hall prioritizes arts access with our integrated arts education program Peninsula Performs! our #FieldHallforAll initiatives, and community collaborations through our Field Hall Connections series. All of these programs are made possible by our donors.

Access to the arts enhances the lives of all, regardless of age or background. The arts spark innovation, drive problem-solving, and foster emotional well being. The video below was produced by ARTSFUND as part of their Livability Impact Study.

Your contribution to Field Hall education and community engagement programs through the ALL IN campaign will provide the gift of the arts to people in our community who might not otherwise have access and inspire generations to come.

ALL IN for PROGRAMMING

Field Hall features outstanding performances from local, national, and international artists. Our facility attracts acclaimed touring acts previously unavailable to our community such as Pink Martini, the Peking Acrobats, Macy Gray, Mummenschanz, and Hung Dance. Your support allows Field Hall to present world-class performances in our local community at accessible ticket prices.

Fostering new artists and providing a platform for emerging performers, Field Hall is a magnet for creative ventures. Our facility has hosted residencies with national and international artists, leading to the development of exciting new works like Noche Flamenca’s stunning musical and theatrical flamenco show Searching for Goya and The 7th Voyage of Egon Tichy an acclaimed experimental new show from Sinking Ship Productions and Theater in Quarantine.

Your ALL IN campaign contribution to artistic development will help Field Hall increase its scope as a fountainhead of inspiration on the Olympic Peninsula.

ALL IN for FIELD HALL

In 2020, Field Hall had projected contributions and pledges to guarantee opening a fully funded project. The COVID-19 pandemic forced a construction pause.
When construction resumed in 2022, the remaining material and labor costs had risen an unprecedented 48%, requiring the acquisition of a credit line to cover the $10 million funding gap.

The Olympic Peninsula now boasts a world-class venue designed to host theater, music, film, and local events. Together, we have created a place where people work, connect, and relax on the waterfront. Field Hall is uplifting the performing and visual arts community and giving Port Angeles a reputation as an arts destination.

This magnificent structure is the initial return on investment for the community who supported its development. LMN Architects produced the video below to celebrate the successful completion of Field Hall’s design. The ALL IN campaign ensures the future of this stunning facility by covering the additional construction costs caused by the pandemic shut-down.

We are deeply grateful to the hundreds of Founders Circle donors who supported our original capital campaign and helped build this beautiful space. Click here for a list of all donors who contributed to our capital campaign.

Field Arts & Events Hall is a private not-for-profit organization made possible by individual contributions. This beautiful facility is a testament to what our community has accomplished through collective action.

Among all our Founders Circle donors, the Field Hall “Angels” stand out as early investors and leaders of the charge to build a world-class performing arts and events center in Port Angeles. Without the extraordinary women recognized below, this project would not have been possible.

DONNA MORRIS

Donna Morris’s historic $9 million gift—the largest charitable donation in Clallam County—sparked the creation of Field Hall. Her passion for musicians and performers inspired a space where talent is nurtured and celebrated.

DOROTHY FIELD

Dorothy’s gift of Port Angeles’ last undeveloped waterfront parcel laid the foundation for Field Hall. Her continued generosity reflects a deep commitment to the arts and community

PAT DONLIN

Pat Donlin’s remarkable gifts totaling over $2.5 million helped bring Field Hall to life. A painter, woodcarver, and wise investor, Pat believed deeply in the power of the arts to uplift her beloved Port Angeles.

MARY WHITMORE

Mary Whitmore made a transformative contribution to Field Hall’s capital campaign. Her belief in the power of culture and community continues to resonate in every corner of the building.

LAURA COOKSEY

Laura Cooksey’s contributions to Field Hall extend beyond philanthropy into the realm of inspiration. The Laura Cooksey Gallery showcases regional artists and reflects her passion for creativity, nature, and connection.
