Join us for World Wide Knit in Public Day\, a global celebration of fiber arts and community gathering. This event has been happening internationally for more than 13 years and welcomes knitters\, crocheters\, stitchers\, and makers of all kinds. Bring your current project\, settle in with fellow community members\, and spend the afternoon stitching\, sharing\, and connecting in Field Hall’s public spaces. All experience levels are welcome\, including complete beginners and curious visitors. \nBring your own knitting\, crochet\, embroidery\, or fiber materials. Seating will be available throughout the space. Café beverages and snacks available for purchase.

Expect live music\, circus acts\, all-ages activities\, and cheap street food! \nWhy are we partying? Because our community keeps showing up in the best ways! You’ve made it possible to build the building\, to keep the lights on\, to host incredible artists\, and to keep ticket prices affordable. This party is a celebration of that support and our way of saying thank you. Because of this community\, we’re incredibly close to closing the ALL IN campaign – an effort which has paid off all remaining construction costs and set our #fieldhallforall and artistic excellence initiatives up for lasting success.
