It also includes songs from the solo career of frontman David Byrne and by Tom Tom Club\, the side project of drummer Chris Frantz and bassist Tina Weymouth. \nIn 2021\, Stop Making Sense was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being “culturally\, historically\, or aesthetically significant.”  A special 4K restoration of the film was re-released in theaters in September 2023 by A24; this event will show the restored version. \nField Arts & Events Hall does not generally provide advisories about subject matter or potentially triggering content in films\, as sensitivities vary from person to person.
