DESCRIPTION:Everyone Deserves To Be Seen \nOn Display Aug 21-Oct 24 | The Laura Cooksey Gallery at Field Hall\nFREE ADMISSION \n\n\n\nFrom August 21st – October 24th the Laura Cooksey Gallery at Field Hall will host a shared exhibit of photography by Steve Raber and clothing design by Joyce Nadig from 1982 – 1987. \nSteve Raber’s photographs preserve both private moments and big\, bold and joyous pronunciation of character from the straight and queer bars of mid-1980s Los Angeles. Joyce Nadig’s clothing collections from the mid-1980s reveals a discipline built on fabric\, silhouettes\, and intentional design. \nJoyce and Steve grew up together in Port Angeles and graduated from Port Angeles High School with the class of 1971. \n\nGallery hours are 10AM – 2PM Monday through Saturday. Free entry\, all ages welcome. \nField Hall will be filled with dozens of authors from Port Angeles and around the Northwest—spanning mystery\, romance\, fantasy\, horror\, children’s books\, local history\, and beyond. Mixed in with their standard repertoire of original material they’ll be bringing it old school like when the rods were hot and the wars were cold. Classic movie monsters! Timeless halloween traditions! A costume contest for the ages! Doo-wop on the speakers and the twist in your hips!
