Field Arts & Events Hall is proud to present HUMAN/NATURE, a new gallery exhibition that explores the powerful emotional bond between people and the natural world. Opening celebration is on Saturday, June 14 in The Laura Cooksey Gallery during Port Angeles’ Second Saturday Artwalk. The event runs from 5PM–8PM and is free and open to the public.
HUMAN/NATURE features works by Pacific Northwest artists whose paintings, photography, sculpture, fiber art, and mixed media pieces reflect themes of healing, soul-searching, and renewal. This summer showcase celebrates not only the beauty of the outdoors, but its role in shaping our identity, wellbeing, and sense of home.

Opening night visitors will have a chance to meet several of the artists and curators. Enjoy food and drink specials from Field Hall’s Waterfront Coffee Bar while taking in this moving tribute to the natural world.

This exhibition serves as a love letter to the wild spaces that transform us & sustain our community. Through color, texture, and nature itself, these artists capture not just the beauty of the outdoors, but its power to connect, inspire, and heal us. We invite you to reflect on your own connection to summer, the public lands and the profound joy of being outside.
