GEL PRINTING, COLLAGE & BOOK ARTS FOR CONNECTED CLASSROOMS

Kaylee Cammack brings tactile, color-rich artmaking into the classroom—from layered gel prints to small handmade books and compelling collage. A trained teacher with K–12 experience (including 1st–2nd grade) and 20+ years at Peninsula College, she blends clear, scaffolded instruction with playful exploration. Her projects are adaptable, curriculum-friendly, and work beautifully in public school settings where time, budget, and class size matter.

GRADE LEVELS

Pairs well with 2nd–6th grade (elementary school) and adaptable for middle school and high school, including after-school art clubs. First grade by special request.

KAYLEE'S PROGRAMS

Exploring Layers with Gel Plate Printing

Students use gel plates and acrylics to build layered prints while practicing spatial awareness, sequencing, and color theory. Minimum: 1 class period.

Bookmaking Play – Using Papers from Gel Printing Sessions

Students fold, cut, and assemble small books for creative writing, math facts, life cycles, or storytelling; can incorporate printed papers from gel printing sessions. Minimum: 1 class period.

Collage Creations

Students design collages on card stock or index cards using printed papers and found textures, learning cutting/tearing techniques, layering, and composition; can double as seasonal cardmaking. Minimum: 1 class period.
