Open Mic Monday at Field Hall continues on November 9th with our guest hosts: The Port Angeles Community Players! For 75 years, Port Angeles Community Players (PACP) have brought creative opportunities and entertainment to area residents and visitors alike.

Doors open at 5PM with the Open Mic starting at 6PM. Interested performers can sign up between 5PM – 5:50PM. First-time performers receive three entries, returning performers receive two entries, and all performers and alternates are drawn from a hat at 5:50PM. Performers must bring their own instruments: performance time is limited to two songs or 10 minutes.

All ages and talents welcome: please note that this is a family-friendly event and content should be appropriate for all ages. Food and drinks are available to purchase throughout the event.

MISSION: TO CREATE THE MAGIC OF LIVE THEATER
Since 1952, the dedicated volunteers of the PACP have presented a great variety of stage productions for the enjoyment of the community. Through dedicated community effort, the Port Angeles Community Playhouse, located on Lauridsen Blvd., became a reality in 1971.

We have celebrated theater by staging over 350 musicals, comedies and dramas for more than 100,000 patrons. Productions have involved hundreds of community members as actors, directors, set designers, stage crews, ushers, graphic designers, box office personnel and other vital jobs.

Open Mic Mondays are a once-monthly event at Field Hall that welcomes creative people to share their talents! Originally hosted by Bread & Gravy Duo, Open Mic now features a rotating community host, allowing audiences to learn more about the vibrant arts community in Port Angeles. Performers of all genres are welcomed to join us and enter for a time slot: from songwriters and poets to magicians and jugglers – all talents are welcome!
