The Thanksgiving Play by Larissa Fasthorse

Field Arts & Events Hall - Donna M. Morris Theater 201 W Front Street, Port Angeles, WA, United States

The Thanksgiving Play by Larissa Fasthorse, the first Native American woman playwright to have her work on Broadway, is coming for-one-night-only at Field Arts & Events Hall on November 22nd. The Thanksgiving Play is NOT your usual children’s holiday play. It’s a quick-witted satire of well-meaning but exhaustingly ‘woke’ teachers who attempt to create a politically correct elementary school play about the first Thanksgiving while struggling with their own biases and the lack of Native representation.
