Join us for FREE JAZZ SUNDAY in the Sunset Lounge on Sunday, January 5th with Sarah Shea and Chez Jazz!
Enjoy a blend of Latin, Bossa Nova, ballads, jazz standards from the Great American Songbook, and originals. Take to the dance floor for a mix of slow and up-tempo tunes, including instrumental selections.

Sarah Shea is a jazz vocalist with a Master’s degree in Music from Columbia University, where she performed in New York’s vibrant jazz scene during the summer of 2023. A first-place winner at the Kobe Jazz Competition in Seattle, she will be featured at the Kobe Jazz Festival in Japan this May. Known for her soulful performances, Sarah has headlined the Chelan Wine and Jazz Festival and held an international residency in Mexico. Her discography includes The Nearness of You (2011) and A Child Is Born (2017), showcasing her passion for jazz standards, bossa nova, and original compositions.
Elliot “Kirk” Kuykendall is a professional multi-instrumentalist with over 40 plus years performing, recording and teaching all styles of music. His primary instruments are Electric and Upright bass.
George Radebaugh has a B.A. music composition from University of California, Santa Barbara but is now most interested in the spontaneity of jazz improvisation. Originally from the east coast, he presently resides in Port Townsend and can be heard at many local venues as well throughout the northwest playing jazz and other styles. He plays frequently with guitarist Chuck Easton, bassist Ted Enderle and trumpeter Ed Donahue many other local jazz greats. He frequently plays solo piano as well as being a preferred accompanist for jazz singers and has been the pianist on the albums of Jenny Davis, Robin Bessier and others.
Kevin MacCartney performs with several local bands. He teaches “Rhythms of the World” for Field Hall’s “Peninsula Performs” arts and music education program for elementary school students in the area.
Jeff Busch is an exuberant Seattle-based drummer/percussionist, vocalist, and composer whose passion for soulful music of varied traditions has led him to perform with jazz, blues, and gospel groups–as well as calypso, samba, and Cuban jazz ensembles.
Chris Bickley has performed in concerts and jazz festivals throughout the world … Montreux International Jazz Festival, Montreux, Switzerland, Carnegie Hall “Jazz Cavalcade” series, North Sea Jazz Festival, The Hague, Netherlands, Bix Beiderbecke Festival, Davenport, Iowa, and the Detroit Montreux Jazz Festival. A graduate of the internationally acclaimed Interlochen Arts Academy, he has served as the Director of Jazz at Central Michigan University and Northwestern Michigan College. Chris has performed with many jazz legends including: Woody Hermans Thundering Herd, Herbie Hancock, and leads his own Jazz groups and Big Band.
