Exhibit Opening Reception: “Colors of Nature”

Textile art and the many different ways it is created will be described by three Olympic Peninsula artists at the opening reception for the new Field Arts & Events Hall Gallery exhibit, “Colors of Nature." The reception and artists introduction will take place in Field Hall’s Pat Donlin lobby on Tuesday, May 28 at 5PM. The exhibit will remain on display through August 3rd.

Free Jazz Sunday Featuring the L Dowdell Trio

The L DOWDELL TRIO, three musicians from the East Coast whose stars aligned out here on the Peninsula, play an eclectic mix of original arrangements of jazz standards paired with music from classical and pop genres. FREE LIVE MUSIC in the Sunset Lounge from 12PM to 1:30PM. Bloody Mary & Mimosa Bar available in the Sunset Lounge 11AM - 2PM. The Waterfront Coffee Bar will also be open and offering food and drink from 11AM to 2PM.

FUNKWAYS is Port Angeles composer and trumpet player Joel Ricci's all-original, rhythmic endeavor kicking up dust at the crossroads of primitive raw funk and intense vernacular jazz. The #WALocal artists join us in the Donna M. Morris Theater on June 29th for an upscale, curated jazz concert. Following the theater show, join FUNKWAYS in the Sunset Bar & Lounge for a laid-back deep funk dance party and jam session ($5 add-on for After Party).
