The Thanksgiving Play is NOT your usual children’s holiday play. It’s a quick-witted satire of well-meaning but exhaustingly ‘woke’ teachers who attempt to create a politically correct elementary school play about the first Thanksgiving while struggling with their own biases and the lack of Native representation.
Internationally recognized musician, humanitarian, and artists Samite tells his life’s story in this multi-media one-man play. Beautiful, powerful, personal and musical - “Resilience” is a play with the urgency of now combined with timeless stories of healing.
