Get ready for the 2024 JFFA Festival Encore featuring Abby Posner with special guest Paula Fong! JFFA and Field Hall are proud to present this partner event as part of our IN HARMONY series.
Abby Posner is a multi-instrumentalist originally from the mountains of Colorado. Posner’s energy is comparable to Chris Thile of Nickel Creek, and The Lumineers. Her songs range from intimate, haunting folk songs, to upbeat festival/dance your pants off tunes. She has music placed on Hulu, Netflix, The CW, Freeform, commercials and TV shows all over the US and UK. Her music video Quiet on Sunset was recently featured on CMT, and she has scored the music for 4 documentaries including Stars award winning Lady Buds. Posner was one of the lead roles in the Bank Of America ad campaign for Ken Burns Country Music Documentary playing banjo and singing Wagon Wheel along side Dom Flemons and Amythyst Kiah. She received Official Showcases at Americana Fest 2023, and Folk Alliance International 2022 and 2024.
Winner of the USA Songwriting Competition for her song Get Loud co-written with Ships Have Sailed, and the winner of the Topanga Fiddle Festival’s Best Song award for her song ‘Blind spots’ in 2020.
Posner signed to Blackbird Record Label in the fall of 2022, and continues to tour all over the US with her newest album Second Chances.
