Audiences will be captivated with this first concert tour of North America by the spectacular Three Italian Tenors. Tenors Giovanni Maria Palmia, Ugo Tarquini and Alessandro Fantoni will be accompanied by Fabrizio Mocata on piano.
You will be swept away by operatic gems like E lucevan le stelle, La donna è mobile, and Nessun dorma, alongside timeless Neapolitan songs such as Torna a Surriento, ’O surdato ’nnammurato, and Funiculì Funiculà. The program also includes romantic ballads like Musica Proibita and Dicitencello vuje, a tribute to Dean Martin with Volare, and a lively piano medley of popular Italian tunes — all culminating in a thrilling celebration of vocal artistry and Italian musical heritage.
Giovanni Maria Palmia
A classically trained tenor from Reggio Emilia, Giovanni Maria Palmia studied at the Conservatory of Parma and refined his craft under renowned artists like Renata Scotto and Mariella Devia. Known for his rich lyrical voice and expressive stage presence, he has performed in major opera houses across Europe and Asia, including roles in La Traviata, Nabucco, and Tosca. He is a founding member of The Three Italian Tenors and The Four Italian Tenors.
Ugo Tarquini
Ugo Tarquini is a versatile Italian tenor celebrated for his passionate interpretations of classic opera roles. He has performed internationally, including as Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly in Israel, and is a member of The Three Italian Tenors. His voice combines warmth and power, bringing emotional depth to both operatic arias and traditional Italian songs.
Alessandro Fantoni
Born in Genoa, Alessandro Fantoni studied voice in Parma and has performed leading roles in prestigious opera houses across Europe, including La Traviata, Il Trovatore, and Tosca. His powerful tenor and refined technique have earned him accolades in competitions and festivals. He is a featured soloist with The Three Italian Tenors, bringing elegance and dramatic flair to the ensemble.
Fabrizio Mocata (Pianist)
A Sicilian-born pianist and composer, Fabrizio Mocata is internationally acclaimed for his innovative fusion of classical, jazz, and tango. A graduate of the Florence Conservatory, he has performed at major festivals worldwide and collaborated with top artists in both jazz and opera. His arrangements bring a vibrant, contemporary touch to traditional Italian repertoire, making him the perfect musical partner for The Three Italian Tenors.
