Jenny Stewart-Houston brings joyful, accessible movement experiences into K–12 classrooms, weaving together creative dance, yoga, storytelling, and mindfulness. With a lifelong background in professional performance and a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Jenny creates movement-based classes that support physical awareness, emotional regulation, focus, and creative expression. Her teaching is grounded in child development and designed to meet students where they are—playful, inclusive, and adaptable to a wide range of learning needs.
Jenny’s classes encourage students to feel confident in their bodies, connected to one another, and engaged in learning through movement. Her approach is flexible, collaborative, and especially supportive for classrooms seeking embodied learning tools that integrate seamlessly into the school day.

JENNY STEWART-HOUSTON'S PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONS
STORYTIME YOGA ADVENTURES
Students step inside a story or classroom theme and bring it to life through yoga poses, breathwork, and creative movement. Sessions may explore nature, science topics, social–emotional themes, or books students are reading, supporting literacy and imagination through embodied play.
BRAIN BREAK: MOVEMENT & MINDFULNESS FOR FOCUS
Short-format movement and mindfulness sessions designed to help students reset, refocus, and regulate energy throughout the school day. Activities blend yoga, rhythmic movement, breathwork, and guided stillness, making them easy to integrate into daily classroom routines.
THEMATIC YOGA & CREATIVE MOVEMENT
Yoga and dance-based exploration connected to a specific classroom unit or theme, such as environmental studies, world cultures, or emotional awareness. Classes may culminate in a short sharing or reflective moment, allowing students to express learning through movement.
