Celebrating the Grand Opening of the Waterfront Coffee Bar at Field Hall

The Waterfront Coffee Bar at Field Hall celebrated its grand opening on Saturday, March 9th. From morning yoga to a coffeehouse showcase featuring local musicians, the day was packed with a sense of shared excitement.

The morning kicked off with a gentle yoga session led by local instructor Jenny Houston in the Sunset Lounge. Participants of all ages and skill levels joined in to stretch, breathe, and start their day with mindfulness.

Following the yoga session, the official ribbon-cutting ceremony took place at the Waterfront Coffee Bar. Field Hall board members, donors, and Port Angeles Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors gathered to mark this special occasion. With one snip, a welcoming new community space was born!

As the day unfolded, local musicians took to the coffeehouse stage to entertain café guests. From the soulful melodies of Bread & Gravy Duo to the foot-stomping tunes of Cort Armstrong and the dynamic performance by Tuff Puffin, there was something for everyone to enjoy. Jason Mogi of Deadwood Revival treated the audience to his unique blend of folk and blues, while a coffeehouse showcase featured a lineup of talented area musicians.

Of course, no celebration is complete without delicious food and drinks, and the Waterfront Coffee Bar did not disappoint. Guests indulged in a variety of sweet and savory pastries crafted by two in-house bakers, along with an array of hot and iced coffee drinks, spritzers, tea, and other beverages. The café also offered grab-and-go salads and sandwiches, as well as Toga’s famous soups

Throughout the day, guests had the opportunity to explore the expanded café space, enjoy the custom painted café tables, and take in the stunning waterfront views.

The Grand Opening celebration was a testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone involved in bringing the Waterfront Coffee Bar to life. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this special celebration, and here’s to many more memorable moments at the Waterfront Coffee Bar at Field Hall!

The Waterfront Coffee Bar at Field Hall is open from 7AM to 4PM Monday through Saturday. We invite you to stop by and experience the hospitality (and house-baked pastries!) for yourself.
