Textile art and the many different ways it is created will be described by three Olympic Peninsula artists at the opening reception for the new Field Arts & Events Hall Gallery exhibit, “Colors of Nature." The reception and artists introduction will take place in Field Hall’s Pat Donlin lobby on Tuesday, May 28 at 5PM. The exhibit will remain on display through August 3rd.

Created by Peninsula Fiber Artists members with flax, cotton, wool, silk, beads and paper using eco-printing, custom fabric designs, hand-dyed fabric and embroidery, “Colors of Nature” will be open 10AM - 2PM Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and for two hours prior to most performances. The gallery will also be open 5PM - 8PM for Second Saturday Artwalks (June 8th and July 13th) and during other summer special events at Field Hall.

Get lost in the fantasy world created by Jim Henson, George Lucas, and David Bowie! Prior to the movie screening, stop by the Field Hall Sunset Bar & Lounge for an all-ages David Bowie Music & Dance Party! Costumes and Bowie-inspired looks encouraged. Field Arts & Events Hall and the upstairs Sunset Bar & Lounge will open at 4:30PM. The pre-show David Bowie Party will run 4:30 - 5:30PM. Labyrinth will start in the Donna M. Morris Theater at 6PM.
