RED ROOM: DAVID LYNCH FILM SERIES
The Port Townsend & Jefferson County Leader and Field Hall have partnered to present RED ROOM: A Summer Tribute to David Lynch featuring four “pay-what-makes-you-happy” events hosted in honor of the late surrealist American filmmaker.
Strange, scary, silly, and sweet – David Lynch’s filmography drifts from dreamlike to nightmarish, sometimes balancing on a knife’s edge between two worlds. Experience three films that must be felt, not understood: Eraserhead (June 29) Wild at Heart (July 13) and Blue Velvet (August 24).
PLUS: On July 6th, enjoy the music of David Lynch in a special Free Jazz Sunday event featuring The Librarians.
JUNE 29 | ERASERHEAD
SURREAL EXPERIMENTAL HORROR

Henry (John Nance) resides alone in a bleak apartment surrounded by industrial gloom. When he discovers that an earlier fling with Mary X (Charlotte Stewart) left her pregnant, he marries the expectant mother and has her move in with him. Things take a decidedly strange turn when the couple’s baby turns out to be a bizarre lizard-like creature that won’t stop wailing.
