Who Are the Development Duo?
Poet and Jen, or “The Development Duo,” are your go-tos for everything related to supporting Field Arts & Events Hall. Think of them as matchmakers, connecting your passion and goals with opportunities to strengthen Field Hall. They bring expertise, enthusiasm, and a personal touch to fundraising, guiding you through everything from membership perks to legacy gifts.

Meet Poet!
I am a first-generation Guatemalan American who grew up in the SF Bay Area when family settled there after the 1976 earthquake. Having a diverse set of life experiences, I have enjoyed time as a Park Ranger for the City of San Mateo, a bilingual Program Coordinator for Latino Outdoors, and as an Operations Manager for Gaia Passages.
I am grateful to call the Olympic Peninsula home and have enjoyed getting involved with community through theater, sports and food. I am excited to be supporting Field Arts & Events Hall as a committed space for access, inclusivity and creativity.
Meet Jen!
I am a 5th generation Port Angeles resident and never left. My husband and I have one son and just welcomed a daughter in law this last summer. I am a Port Angeles High School graduate of 2001 and went to Peninsula College where I received a Webster Scholarship and graduated with the AAS in Multimedia Communications.
I worked as a graphic designer straight out of college and then worked in a variety of roles in Marketing over the last 14 years. I found my passion for volunteerism, giving back to the community, and working in the nonprofit world in where I started at Field Arts & Events Hall in the fall of 2024.
